Caryatis is a contemporary photographic study of women’s traditional dress across Greece by George Tatakis. Made over ten years in more than 100 locations, the work brings together portraits of women wearing the dress of their locality, photographed in the places to which it belongs.

This first edition contains 233 black-and-white photographs across 256 pages, with introductory texts by Evgenia Karelia, Alexandra Rapti and Yorgis Manginis.
